Pompeii, in particular, had expertly mastered the art of perfumery, as evidenced by the ongoing excavations being conducted in the Vesuvian city.
Among the plentiful discoveries, we learned that Agathon, a producer of precious ointments for the aristocracy of the time, was a very busy man.
This sparked the ingenious idea of Agatho Parfum: a means of rediscovering the essence and preciousness of those ancient fragrances whilst giving them a new lease of life as part of an exclusive and contemporary olfactory project.
The company was born in 2018 thanks to the artistic experience of Alessandro Bianchi, current CEO of the Maison.
In fact, all the fragrances boast an unmistakable creative imprint, clearly visible both in the design of the fragrances and in their olfactory quality.
Since its inception, Agatho Parfum has successfully entered the complex international market of luxury perfumery, immediately conquering the public and reaffirming its winning philosophy, forged on the ancient glories of the legendary Vesuvian city.
In fact, as part of the Maison's creativity and exploration-focused journey, Alessandro has decided to put a modern spin on the historic Pompeian perfume tradition, by developing elegant and refined fragrances which are rich in both culture and character.
